With grateful thanks to our partners New Forest District Council and Hampshire Constabulary, Carvers Recreation Ground has now been cleared of the unauthorised encampment.

Carvers Clubhouse has now re-opened.

At last week’s Annual Town Assembly, Certificates of Outstanding Community Service were presented to three very worthy Ringwood residents to acknowledge their valuable and devoted service over very many years to the people of the town. To coincide with the Jubilee Beacon that is being lit at St Peter & St Paul in Ringwood on the evening of Thursday June 2nd, there will be a performance of a special song written for the event – ‘A Life Lived With Grace’ (you can listen to it here https://youtu.be/vAN5hBizADs with words on the screen).

Ringwood Town Council is delighted to announce that, thanks to generous sponsorship from local company Comax UK, reusable glasses will be used at the ‘Party in the Park’ event to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee on Sunday 5th June 2022. These will then be available for use at other events in the future, such as the Pedal Car Grand Prix, Carnival, Fireworks and Winter Wanderland.

There will be a virtual Extraordinary Meeting of the Planning, Town & Environment Committee at 7.00pm on Wednesday 13th April to consider a draft response to Planning Application 21/11723 for development of land at Moortown Lane.

We are looking for a friendly and hard working experienced individual to join our team at Carvers Clubhouse as a Weekend Cafe Supervisor.

A planning application has been submitted to New Forest District Council for development off Moortown Lane. The applicant, Crest Nicholson, is inviting the local community to attend an online community engagement event to hear more about the plans and ask questions.

Following a 2-year break, the Council will once again be operating a Visitor Information service from Ringwood Gateway on Saturdays throughout the holiday season (Easter to mid-September).

We are looking for both a Visitor Information Manager and Assistant to work with a team of volunteers to provide a range of tourist information to members of the public.
