The Coronation of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen Consort will take place at Westminster Abbey on Saturday 6th May, 2023. As part of a nationwide act of celebration and friendship, Ringwood Town Council will be hosting a celebratory event on Sunday 7th May 2023 on Bickerley Village Green.
Ringwood has a proud history of hosting wonderful communtiy events and we are looking forward to making this wonderful occassion a memorable one for the town.
The event will be held on the Bickerley- the town's village green. The main programme will start at midday with a fair, food and a bar, miniature steam train and a whole suite of inflatables. Live music will feature from 1pm showcasing some of our fabulous local talent including The Tuesdays Community Choir, Scarlet Swing, Tommy Hughes and Jodie Elms. There is no entry charge, just bring a picnic blanket and get ready to mark this special weekend with the rest of your community.
We are lucky in Ringwood to have such a large number of businesses happy to support the wonderful range of events in the town.
If you would like information about how to sponsor our forthcoming event, please get in touch! Drop us an email on charmaine.bennett@ringwood.gov.uk. You'll be helping to bring the community together, just like our jubilee event in 2022 as you can see from our short film.
Thank you so much to the following companies who have agreed so far to support the event:
Economy Hire
Allum and Sidaway
