Carver's Clubhouse Kicks Off Summer Programme for Local Families

  • By: Ringwood Town Council

With school summer holidays just days away, Carvers Clubhouse, which is owned and managed by Ringwood Town Council, is excited to announce the launch of its summer programme, offering a wide range of activities designed to keep local families, children, and young people engaged and entertained.

This year's summer programme includes:

  • Sports Activities: From football and girls’ cricket to free use of the tennis courts on site, offering lots of opportunities to play sports and keep active.
  • Creative Fun: Including workshops in cartoon drawing, clay modelling, graffiti art and family craft days, encouraging creativity and self-expression.
  • Event Days: Join us for special event days including our Family Fun Festival and Skate Jam.
  • Play time: Outdoor play for the under 4s, keeping all the family entertained this summer!

Carvers Clubhouse is committed to making these activities accessible to everyone, offering them for free or at a low cost. Our goal is to ensure that every child and young person in our community has the opportunity to participate in fun, educational, and healthy activities throughout the summer.

"We're thrilled to offer a diverse range of programmes that cater to the interests and needs of our local families," said Charmaine Bennett, Carvers Clubhouse Manager. "As well as the majority funding from Ringwood Town Council, we are grateful to other supporters including Culture in Common, AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust and New Forest District Council to help us run this programme."
