The Town Mayor Cllr Gareth DeBoos officially opened the new allotment site at Crow Arch Lane, Ringwood on Tuesday 14th May 2024 in the presence of fellow Town Councillors, allotment tenants and others.

Ringwood Town Council took ownership of the new and long-awaited allotments at the end of 2023. Since then, it has been working hard to get those on the waiting list signed up as tenants in good time for this year’s growing season. Allotments can be hard work, but there are lots of rewards too; from home-grown produce to health benefits.

This site has been laid out to provide 22 single plots (20m x 6m) and 25 mini plots (5m x 5m) and is set in a semi-rural location south of the housing development at Crow Lane (and Crow Arch Lane). This new site is a welcome addition to the other Council allotment sites at Southampton Road and Upper Kingston.
