We are pleased to announce that the Ringwood Neighbourhood Plan has completed the independent examination stage.
Although there are some suggested modifications to the document, the important policies such as Smaller Homes, First Homes, Design Standards, Wildlife Corridors and Energy efficiency standards have been accepted. These policies have already been referenced in the Town Council’s response to the application for development off Moortown Lane.
Once the changes to the document have been made there will be an opportunity for the residents of Ringwood to vote on the Plan via a referendum in the summer.
Ringwood Town Council would like to thank all those involved in the development of the plan and especially recognise the significant amount of volunteer time and energy.
The Examiner's final report can be viewed here.
