The latest version of the Neighbourhood Plan was approved by Ringwood Town Council on 26th July 2023 for submission to the local planning authorities (New Forest District Council and the New Forest National Park Authority).

NFDC and NFNPA have commenced a final 6-week consultation, after which the Plan will be considered by an independent examiner.  The final version will be subject to a local referendum.

Should the outcome of the referendum be positive then the policies will guide all future planning applications in the parish and the Town Council will receive a higher percentage of the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) monies that are provided by developers.
