Ringwood Grand Fireworks will be held at Carvers on Sunday 3 November 2024 featuring two fireworks displays, fairground, children’s circus workshops, fire shows, live music and refreshments. New for this year, tickets are available to be purchased online only.
Four long-serving members of staff were recently celebrated for their outstanding commitment to the Council, contributing an impressive 108 years of service between them.
The Town Council supported local young people over the summer by running a Skate Jam and partnering with Ethical Activities Community Interest Company (CIC) to offer the Carvers Kayak Club. These programs provided safe, educational, and enjoyable opportunities for youth aged 9 to 15, encouraging skill development and community engagement.

The planning application for development of land off Moortown Lane has suffered another delay, and the developers must now engage with the Town Council to address our concerns.

A planning application for a development of over 400 houses on land off Moortown Lane was due to be considered by New Forest District Council’s Planning Committee on 10 July but was removed from the agenda at the 11th hour. One of the reasons given was the recent adoption of the Ringwood Neighbourhood Plan by the authority, which must be taken into consideration when determining planning applications as it is now part of the Development Plan.
