FAQ's for 2024 Event

This year tickets are ONLY able to be purchased online https://buytickets.at/ringwoodtowncouncil/1385513

As of 27 October, tickets are £5.00 per ticket plus booking fee. Our early bird tickets were on sale from £2.50, and are non-refundable. Children aged 4 and under are FREE as are disabled people and a carer. We normally give away around 20% of our tickets for free to these groups.

Please note you can ONLY buy tickets online. They will be available until sold out or 6pm on the day of the event (whichever is sooner).

For the past 8 years you have been able to buy tickets in advance or on the gate so we realise this is a big change! There are lots of reasons why:

- You asked! Every year we have people ask why they can't buy tickets online or over the phone. So we listened!
- For your safety and comfort. The event has got busier and busier. We dont want to turn people away on the gate so by selling tickets on line we can manage numbers. This is also why we can't sell tickets on the gate.
- For security, to remove the need to have lots of cash at the event.

The tickets come from ringwoodtowncouncil@buytickets.at. Please check your junk folder as many people have found them there. If you still can't find them, please email events@ringwood.gov.uk. You won't get a reply Saturday 2nd November but someone will try and get back to you before 3pm Sunday. There will be people on hand to help on the night, don't worry!

Timetable of activities:

Yes, these were delivered in mid-October.

We have had a fair bit of wet weather so the ground is quite soft. We would always suggest footwear that you don't mind getting muddy!

We expect the event to go ahead if its raining. If, for safety reasons, we do have to cancel we will put notices up on Facebook, instagram and the Town Council website and we will email you through the ticketing company.

Super Early Bird and Early Bird tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE, even if the event is cancelled. We incur costs even if the event does not go ahead (due to the weather for example) and so this covers council tax payers in Ringwood against those costs.

Tickets bought after the 27th October are refundable if the event does not go ahead. We do not give refunds for any other reason (such as changing of mind, illness and so on).

Yes, there will be plenty of options available. This includes bratwurst, crepes, pizza and a charity bar run by Ringwood Roundtable. Carvers Clubhouse will be open as well with a special menu.

If you are able, the best way to get there is to walk.

There are two entrances:

- Carvers Lane https://w3w.co/results.airtime.bagpipes- we recommend you enter via this gate. It's quieter so you won't have to queue for as long and the access is easier.
- Southampton Road: https://w3w.co/forced.fattening.wired

If you need to drive please note there is no parking at Carvers. Please park in the main town centre car parks, Carvers Recreation Ground is a 5 minute walk, taken from the New Forest District Council website, Town and village parking - New Forest District Council:

Blynkbonnie: BH24 1DN - charges apply, 74 long stay spaces, 40 short stay spaces, 6 disabled spaces, 1 motorcycle space, no toilets.

Furlong: BH24 1AT - charges apply, 347 long stay spaces, 342 short stay spaces, 18 disabled spaces, 1 motorcycle space, toilets available, height barrier at entrance, 4 electric vehicle charging points.

Please be considerate of our neighbours if you are parking on the streets and not block driveways.

Most of the stalls inside the venue will take cash and card. We recommend you bring both just in case!

Entry tickets, as above, need to be purchased in advance online.

No pets (except guide dogs) are allowed on site, nor fireworks (inc sparklers) or alcohol. No bikes on site. Thank you!

The event is organised by Ringwood Town Council.
