New emergency bleed control kit at Carvers Clubhouse

  • By: Ringwood Town Council

We are pleased to announce the installation of a new emergency bleed control kit at Carvers Recreation Ground, located alongside the site's existing public access defibrillator.

The addition of the bleed kit forms part of the Council's ongoing commitment to improving public safety and ensuring the community is equipped to respond effectively in the event of a serious accident or injury.

Carvers Recreation Ground is a much-used outdoor space, with facilities including a popular skate park, sports courts, play areas and community activities, the availability of emergency equipment is an important step in enhancing site safety.

Bleed control kits contain specialist equipment designed to help manage catastrophic bleeding in the critical minutes before emergency services arrive. In situations involving severe trauma, rapid intervention can significantly improve outcomes and potentially save lives.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to District Councillor Jeremy Heron and District Councillor Steve Rippon-Swaine, whose generous funding made the purchase and installation of the bleed kit possible.

The bleed kit is housed externally alongside the site's defibrillator on Carvers Clubhouse building, ensuring both pieces of potentially lifesaving equipment are easily accessible should they ever be required.

The Council remains committed to investing in community wellbeing and thanks all partners and supporters who continue to help make local facilities safer for residents and visitors alike.
