At last night’s Full Council meeting, Town Mayor Cllr Rae Frederick presented certificates to local organisations receiving grant aid in recognition of their contribution to the Ringwood community.
The following groups were awarded funding:
Ringwood Men’s Shed – £250 towards the cost of new premises.
Ringwood Rotary – £100 to support the Christmas Eve festivities in the Market Place.
SS Peter and Paul Parish Church – £250 for The Bell Project.
Helping Older People New Forest (HOPe) – £250 to support the ongoing delivery of its service.
Forest Forge Theatre Company – £250 towards theatre and drama sessions.
Certificates were presented to those organisations with representatives in attendance.
Cllr Frederick said:
“Ringwood is strengthened by the passion and commitment of its community groups. These grants are a small way for the Town Council to recognise their hard work and help them continue making a positive difference to the lives of local residents.”
