Ringwood’s much-loved Winter Wanderland is returning to the Market Town on Sunday 30th November, promising a spectacular launch to the Christmas season.
Organised by theTown Council, the event draws thousands to enjoy the town’s lights, Christmas tree, and beautifully decorated shop windows while supporting local businesses and community organisations.
A Day Full of Fun and Cheer:
From 11:30 AM to 6:30 PM, the town will transform into a winter wonderland, offering something for everyone:
Live Entertainment: The Market Place will host performances from noon, such as – Jans gems dancers, Poulner junior school choir, churches together choir followed by our ultimate crowd entertainment - The big night out, this band will get you ready for Santa’s arrival from 3pm.
Ringwood and Burley Band will serenade the High Street. Look out for walkabout acts like the Steamship Circus!
Family Fun: Younger visitors can enjoy a mini funfair, try free circus skills in The Furlong Shopping Centre, or ride the enchanting miniature steam train provided by Chuffley Light Railway along Southampton Road.
Santa’s Grotto and Parades: At Ringwood Gateway we have Santa’s grotto, a variety of music entertainment along with several market stalls for when you visit Santa.
Santa will also lead a festive parade, culminating in the grand Christmas Light Switch-On at 6 PM in the Market Place.
